Personality and Characteristics: Ian is quiet – prefers to think more than to talk. He feels lonely and is sometimes gloomy - now suffering from amnesia (see biography). Ian’s actually quite friendly, but he can’t stand betrayal and losing someone he cares about. He is willing to do whatever it takes when he’s after revenge. Rebellious. Though he’s quite handsome, he gives the others a feeling of the presence of death, which makes the others a bit scared to get to know him.

Strengths and Talents: He’s a thinker, but performs pretty well in battle.
Weaknesses: Gloomy sometimes. Will do whatever it takes when he’s after revenge – even if it may ruin him. Just a kind reminder: don’t cross him – since he may hold grudges against you forever even after your death….
Fears: Cockroaches – believe it or not, though Ian had never admitted it.
Hobbies: Sword-playing, archery, reading, sleeping – he believes that sleeping could help retrieve his lost memory.

Battle

Powers: Just like most of the children of Hades, Ian is able to shadow-travel. He can also summon the dead, making them follow his order (10 dead at once and 5 times a day). When he’s too angry or too emotional, he may drain energy out of people nearby – beware, it’s fatal. He takes it as a curse since he is still not able to control it – so he’s actually quite dangerous. He will also faint immediately if he absorbs too many energy (draining all energy out of 2 people at once will make him faint for 2 hours or even longer). The more energy he absorbs, the longer he faint. If absorb too much, he‘ll faint forever, i.e. he’ll die. (Alright, he’s something that Ian doesn’t know, because of his power. He accidentally killed his half-sister 10 years ago.) He's working on controlling his power, but it doesn't seem to work much.

Weapons: A small skull which morphs into a Stygian Iron sword when it’s rubbed by a son of Hades.

Fatal Flaw: Holding grudges. He is willing to do whatever it takes when he’s after revenge even if it may ruin him.

Strengths: He’s good at sword-playing, archery and he is scary.

Weaknesses: Again, he is willing to do whatever it takes when he’s after revenge even if it may ruin him no matter it worth or not. As mentioned above, he couldn’t control his energy-absorbing power that may kill himself or those nearby when he’s out of control. Melee combat.

Biography (It contains something that Ian doesn’t even know or remember. Please don’t tell him about this or it may ruin him, trust me.)
Ian Blackburn was born in 1986 in Ireland. His mum, Jolie Blackburn, was a doctor working at a hospital (where Hades and Jolie first met) there. Ian lived with his mum and grew up in Ireland. When he was two years old, Jolie married a doctor she’s working with named John Parker, and Ian had a half-sister, Irene, a year after that. They lived happily there.
When Ian was nine years old, they moved to a town in Maine in the US. Months later, Ian started seeing monsters but he managed to defeat them. One day, when he was fighting against a Kampe, a satyr arrived, helped him and told him about his dad and stuffs. Under the wish of his mum, Ian followed the satyr to Camp Half Blood and was claimed when Hades appeared during dinner that night.
He was beyond happy in camp before he started having nightmares when he was 15. He dreamt that his family was in grave danger. So, on the third night, he left the camp secretly with a brief note left on his bunk, but then he found out that this was a trap set by an unknown enemy (since the enemy sent a Manticore to hold Ian’s family in captive.) who wanted something from Ian. As Ian fought against the Manticore, the Manticore killed Jolie who disappeared in a flash. Feeling angry, his power of energy-absorbing was triggered – the Manticore, his sister and his stepdad nearby were killed accidentally. Hades arrived but it was already too late. Because Hades loves his son and he realized that Ian’s power is too dangerous especially under such situation when an enemy was after him, so he blocked his memory and sent him to Lotus Casino. Ian no longer remembered almost anything except his name.
10 years a later, a chaos (seemed to happen in purpose) happened in Lotus Casino and Ian somehow managed to escape. By instinct (or maybe because of a mysterious voice in his mind), he shadow-travelled to Camp Half Blood. That’s when his story starts. He’s still having some flashes about his past, probably because his energy-absorbing power is too strong that it breaks the ‘wall’ built by Hades in Ian’s brain. But he still didn’t really know what really happened that day(it's a lucky thing since the guilt will completely ruin him).
